Suntec: Conquered
Yesterday early in the morning at 9.20 my parents fetched me to Elyssa's place, then Elyssa and I set off from there to City Hall MRT Station. Wan Ting called Elyssa on the way and Elyssa cancelled her call! Then she called me instead, Elyssa answered the phone and went, 'the number you have just dialled is not in use, please leave a message after the beep... *beep*', or something like that yeah. Wan Ting just got off the wrong stop and she told us that she'll be waiting for us at the entrance of Suntec. Penelope called some while after and Elyssa repeated the message, therefore Penelope left her message after the *beep*. We got the message: Penelope and Xin En were waiting for us at the control station already! Reached the station and took the escalator up, saw Penelope and Xin En from afar, pink and green, like a flower. Okay rubbish, then we ran and hid behind pillars. We wanted to walk to and fro in front of them till they notice us but they saw us after we turned back and walked towards them.
We started our search for Wan Ting since nobody wanted to call her to ask about her whereabouts. I had my Polar Sausage Roll, whoow! When we were on the bridge to Suntec, Elyssa called Wan Ting to tell her that Xin En fell into the MRT track, and that the blood was spurt onto her face, the blood was so slippery that Penelope fell into MRT track as well. Next, I fell. And Elyssa ended the call with, 'I'm going to slip, bye bye.'. Hahaha, retarded enough. Saw weeny teeny Wan Ting waiting at the entrance of Suntec. Almost all the shops were not yet open so we went to the basement McDonald's for Penelope's breakfast. We were waiting for Penelope to finish her breakfast when Wan Ting suddenly had a fit relapse upon seeing a cockcroach. I think it crawled into her bag or something. And Penelope said maybe it came out from Wan Ting's bag!
We started eyeing on Xiao Qiang. Xin En said it seems to be moulting! Xiao Qiang would be shy if we continued watching him change his clothes. But still, we kept looking at him. Oh, Xin En got a hash brown which she ate with pepper sprinkled on it! I've never tried eating that way, cool man! I hope tomorrow's breakfast is McDonald's, before I go get my interim report.
After a decade or so, after Penelope finished her breakfast, we walked around even though the shops were still not open. We saw The Wallet Shop, Penelope and Wan Ting wanted to get new wallets but it was closed. Penelope and Wan Ting were so desperate man, they waited for the shop to open when the shop should be waiting for customers to come! So we looked at some other shops nearby while waiting for that shop to open. They got their wallets/ purses without discount! What's the point of shopping during The Great Singapore Sale without buying something on discount man! When we were at the Nike shop, Wan Ting had to go for her gymastics CCA session so she left first. Art Club is so slack we only need to go back to school once!
We went to La Senza (lingerie shop) to test if they would serve or greet us. As expected, the salesgirls didn't even care about our existence okay. We would have gone out after testing their hospitality but a heap of second-hand underwears (according to Xin En) attracted us! We spent a long time searching for nice underwears for ourselves. Then I saw this lime green shirt which was on 30% discount and I liked it a lot so I went to try out. Pretty fitting so I got that instead of an underwear. Even after I paid for the shirt, Elyssa, Penelope and Xin En were still choosing second-hand underwears! Hahaha, and Penelope spotted a strand of hair! That furthermore proved that the underwears we were touching and stretching were second-hand! They finally found their underwears and paid for them, they're wearing them to school tomorrow. The salesgirl wrapped the underwears like ba gua! And the receipts were big, big pieces of paper which contributed to Global Warming, tsk. No offence, but the salesgirls were all Malays if not wrong and they kept talking in Malay and that really made me feel like they were talking bad about the customers (us!) who didn't understand Malay.
We decided to go for lunch after that. There's this whole stretch of restaurants surrounding the Fountain of Wealth. We were choosing which restaurant to go to, in the end we settled down at Swensens. I felt that the waiters and waitresses didn't really want to serve us too, damn irritating! We would have filled the feedback form on the table if it wasn't filled up by some other customer who ticked everything as good.
Oh oh, hehehehe, we swapped shoes. Then after we walked some distance to the Fountain of Wealth. Penelope (I swapped shoes with her) said that she felt like she's pai ka so I decided to wear my own shoes back. I think my feet farted in her shoe 'cause when I took my feet out I could see poisonous gases. Sorry if I stunk your shoe, you stunk mine anyway! By the way, Penelope was pink from head to toe yesterday! Hahahaha, her hairband was pink, her shirt was pink, her jeans had pink, her shoes were pink, her socks were purple (relative of pink). It's Pinky and the Brain, it's Pinky and the Brain, one is the genius, the other insane!
Went to the arcade for a while. I played House of the Dead 2 with Xin En, she likes to play that shooting game too! We went to find Penelope and Elyssa after we both died (literally), which was very very soon.
We all separated after walking the stretch of shops to the MRT Station. Penelope and Xin En took a different MRT line from Elyssa and I. I was stranded without any means of communication with my parents after Elyssa left for ballet, my hand phone ran out of battery and I had to walk all over Marine Parade to find payphones and some didn't work. Then blah blah blah blah blah, I reached home. Totally pissed but I'm glad I was home safely.
